Micromax is all set to release next version of its much appreciated handset, Micromax Canvas Doodle. The upgraded version is named Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 which will feature a bigger screen and includes the features of much hyped Micromax Canvas 4.
Micromax Canvas Doodle will sports a 5.5 inch or bigger display with 720 x 1280 pixel native resolution. The phone will come with a stylus that will be more or less similar to the existing Doodle. The company is continuously teasing the features of Doodle 2 on its Facebook page.
The phone is expected to powered by a 1.2 Ghz Mediatek Quad core processor and 1 GB of RAM. Doodle 2 also allows you to take vertical panorama and will feature a 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash and 2MP front facing camera for video calling.
Doodle 2 will comes with Android v 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) out of the box upgradable to more latest versions. The phone will feature a 4GB of internal memory expandable to 32GB via microSD card.
The connectivity options on the phone will include Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, Micro USB, 3G and GPS. The phone will provide a Dual Sim slot. Doodle 2 is powered by a 2100 mAh battery that is similar to Micromax Canvas Doodle.
Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 is launched to compete with Samsung Galaxy Mega that is launched by the company in June this year. Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 is expected to priced around INR 15000.
